Hope Ministries International
Our Vision
HMI started when Hans de Boer was asked to come to India with a team and, together with local churches, to share the good news of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ with people who have never heard it. During this trip we saw the need for people to see God's love for them, as HMI we want to respond to the great commission in Matthew 28 and Mark 16 to go and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to observe everything Jesus has thought us''
It is our mission to support, with financial aid, the orphans, the widows, the lepers and the local pastors.

Hans de boer
Hans is married to Marlies and they have two daughters. As a kid he already dreamt
about being a missionary. This was his childhood dream, a God given
dream. Since then God has lead him and his wife to many different places.
He preached the gospel on three different continents in many different nations.
His heart goes out to disciple the nations and for the people to get to know
the Father through Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

''Go and make disciples of all nations''
Missions
"Our heart is crying out to God because we want to see the lost saved. We want to see the Kingdom of God breakthrough in the situations we find people in. We want to see people healed, to see those that are bound delivered. And their relationship with God restored and this is all and only possible through Jesus Christ. For he said, I am the way, we preach Jesus!''
God is a ''Father to the fatherless''
Orphans
"One very vulnerable group we meet are the orphans. We are blessed to be able to work with the orphanage run by Daily Bread Missions. We partner with these people because they are all born again Christians. And we see in their lives that they live for the kingdom of God only. The orphanage is run on support basis and they need money to feed the children, clothe them and send them to school. During the last mission we met one of the lady’s that was helping out in the orphanage and she told us that she used to live in the orphanage and was so thankful to God for the opportunity to give back to God and the orphanage what she had received there. To fully support an orphan we need €30,- per month."
God is a ''Protector of widows''
Widows
"From our western mindset we cannot understand why widows are outcast in India. From our Christian perspective we are called to look out for them. That is what we want to do. To supply them with food, clothing, blankets and some money. Last year during our mission we were able to give the widows new saris and it always touches me how grateful and happy they are with the things we find so normal to have. To fully support a widow we need €20,- per month"
''I was sick and you visited me''
Lepers
"The lepers in India are treated the same way as lepers in the bible times. Outside of the society in a separate colony. No ways of working for an income, abandoned by their family and living the life of a beggar. When we met with a group of them this past mission we were touched by their deep love for God. When they worshipped God it was heartfelt they were able to worship God even in their suffering. To fully support one leper we need €20,- per month."
''Elders should be respected and paid well''
Pastors
"We are in contact with about 400 pastors in the area where we work. These pastors lead small churches with young believers. Once or twice per year we go in to train the pastors to do their job of leading the congregations well. Their jobs are demanding. The congregations consist of poor villagers. So the church members are not able to support their pastors. And that is where we come in. To fully support a pastor we need €20,- per month."
