Last week we started our work in Pakistan.

We had many planning and praying times to look at our hearts and find the Lord’s heart in this with our contact. We want to serve our brothers and sisters in this country to encourage them and to see them flourish in their lives with the Lord. Our first meeting was with the pastors and the leaders, and we know that everything we taught them will seep through into the smaller congregations they lead. During the first meeting, we had over a hundred pastors with us. So that was a real blessing. The Lord has given us great plans for this country. We will keep you posted on the developments of our work there. Please pray for our brothers and sisters there as well. I can’t imagine what life would be like if I worked in a brick factory. Many people live in these harsh conditions without opportunities to break out of this life. Let’s pray for them, and please pray for us that we will get “God ideas” to help these people to break out of these situations.

Our work in India will continue as always. Before the second lockdown, we had started meetings with a different group of pastors and widows in the area of Nizampadnam. Weekly we were planning to meet with both groups, but the covid outbreak prevented us from continuing. We pray that the Lord will open this door soon as the covid victim numbers are declining again.
Also, our work in Bapatla and Guntur continues. Weekly we meet with pastors there and widows and orphans and lepers and encourage church members in their walk with the Lord. Many of the people we see regularly are illiterate but also too old to learn to read. In our life, we see that reading the word of God plays a crucial role in our walk with the Lord. So, we are investigating how we can develop something that will give the illiterate the same experience.

We love to see that the Lord is opening doors for us in so many places. More and more, we see the hunger and need for discipleship of the saints. And the reaching out to our neighbours that haven’t heard the Good News yet. Thank you for praying for us. Thank you for trusting us and enabling us to do the work God called us to do through your financial support.
